Peaceful fishing in the Loing Valley
The Loing starts from Souppes-sur-Loing, in the Yonne, and joins the Seine at Saint-Mammès, after winding for about forty kilometers. It runs along the Loing Canal, merging with it twice: once after Nemours, and again after Moret-sur-Loing.
The fish diversity of this second-category river is remarkable. It is home to species such as tench, roach, bream and barbel. Not to mention the presence of eels and Louisiana crayfish!
The Loing Valley is also home to the Orvanne and Lunain, tributaries of the Loing. In these fishing spots in Seine-et-Marne, fishermen can find first-category fish, particularly trout.
