The trails of the Fontainebleau forest

The Fontainebleau and Gâtinais Biosphere Reserve, 30 minutes from our estate, is undoubtedly one of the jewels of hiking in Seine-et-Marne. Renowned for its sandstone blocks, rocky landscapes and century-old trees, this forest offers hiking trails to Fontainebleau for all levels. The hike to Mont Aigu is an opportunity to soak up the splendor and delicacy of this ecosystem. Among the must-see hikes in Seine-et-Marne, the Gorges de Franchard circuit (departure from Fontainebleau) will allow you to discover spectacular viewpoints and unique rock formations.

For the more athletic, the Denecourt-Colinet trail (departure from Fontainebleau), more than 10 km long on average, guides you to the Caverne des Brigands, with its artificial cave and beautiful panorama. The loop continues among the imposing sandstone blocks to the Gorges d'Apremont, where the view opens onto the forest.
